After many years spent working at prestigious Boston firms where she gained valuable tax experience, Susan Archambault saw a need for a new type of accounting firm: one that combined the services of a family trust office and tax services model of quality expertise without losing sight of a client’s individuality. In December 1990, Susan filled that void in the accounting industry by founding ARCHAMBAULT & ASSOCIATES, a boutique accounting firm that combines the quality and sophistication of a large firm with the personality and price of a small practice. Decades later, ARCHAMBAULT & ASSOCIATES’ team of experienced professionals continues to embrace the core philosophy of service and to build long-term relationships with clients.

Susan maintains her professional education on a continuous basis in a diverse array of topics. Susan’s commitment to learning coupled with thirty years of practical insight provides Susan’s foundation for client advice.  In addition to working with our internal team of professionals on the details of our clients’ needs and planning considerations, Susan collaborates with a network of accountants and attorneys from Boston and the surrounding communities who specialize in the fields of taxation and planning.  While she works in conjunction with our clients’ existing teams of attorneys, trust officers and financial advisors, she can also help clients without those resources build an appropriate team for their individual needs.  Susan believes that planning decisions evolve with each individual’s changing life circumstances, and enjoys working with her clients to implement the action items developed by our firm and collaboratively with other professionals serving the client. 

Susan resides in Wakefield, Massachusetts with her husband, Rick, and has three grown children, Kristin, Lauren and Scott. Susan and her family are supporters of the Jimmy Fund, Dana Farber Cancer Institute and other local organizations, with a particular focus on education advocacy for children / adults with different learning styles.  In her free time, Susan enjoys the outdoors.  Having grown up directly on the ocean, swimming and boating are her summer loves, while skiing takes the winter focus.  She also enjoys cheering on the Boston sports teams in all seasons.

Lisa M. Colbert, CPA, MSTLisa M. Colbert, CPA, MST

Tax Manager; Tuesday / Thursday Schedule

Lisa has been with the firm for more than ten years and provides the foundation of our client work with her twenty-five years of experience specializing in taxation. Lisa’s significant tax and accounting experience within the firm’s specialty is invaluable as she works closely with Susan Archambault and the firm’s individual, fiduciary and estate clientele on planning and compliance matters.  Lisa has a unique focus for details and deadlines in our very deadline-driven field, where information is constantly flowing.  Lisa provides the detail tax review for a large group of our clients and is involved with tax preparation and planning for the complex engagements.  Lisa works a part-time schedule at present to maintain the balance between business and her young family.

In 2014, Lisa was awarded the “Certificate of Excellence” for exceptional tax workpapers, work product and commitment to our client mission.

Lisa resides in Byfield, Massachusetts with her husband, Peter, and two young children.

Kristi Feng, CPA

Tax Accountant

Kristi joined the firm in 2016 making a transition from audit and tax to our tax and Fiduciary accounting functions.  Kristi prepares Personal and Fiduciary tax returns as well as client tax plans, to support our tax preparation and planning services.  Kristi also prepares our Fiduciary Accounts for our Trust and Estate Administration support services, Trustee and Probate reporting.

Kristi resides in Wakefield, Massachusetts.  She is an active member of the Wakefield Baptist Church as a member of the vocal and handbell choirs as well as other things.  Kirsti enjoys walking, Sudoku puzzles and spending time with family and friends.

Amy M. Beaudoin

Executive Assistant to Susan Archambault and Client Support Services

As Executive Assistant to Susan Archambault, Amy attends to all daily work and client support functions; she maintains Susan's client calendar, staff calendar, new client relationship controls and on boarding of new engagements.  Amy maintains our comprehensive office docket of tax and other client deadlines and also contributes to our office operations functions.

Amy resides in Wakefield, Massachusetts with her husband, Kenny and their sons.

 Executive Assistant; Tax Operations and Client Support Services - Candidate search in progress.

Assistant attends to all daily administrative workflow with a focus in our tax operations calendar.  This includes administrative support and controls for our E-File process, the quarterly estimated tax payment process, client portals and a variety of tax controls.  Assistant also contributes to our office operations functions and assists the professional team by coordinating with our client financial firms for tax and financial information and tax payment requests.


Laureen A. WarrenLaureen A. Warren

Firm Administrator; Office Operations and Client Support Services

Laurie, who has been a member of the ARCHAMBAULT & ASSOCIATES team since the practice’s early days, has twenty-five plus years of experience in supporting senior executives. Laurie has worn many hats over the years and now assists Susan with all aspects of the firm’s office and tax operations, as well as client controls and support services.  Laurie works closely with Susan on office practices and procedures to ensure professional and administrative efficiencies that benefit our clients.  She ensures that our daily functions are maintained, provides client billing services and controls, maintains administrative processes, and assists Susan with a variety of office management functions.

In 2014, Laurie was awarded the “Certificate of Excellence” for outstanding dedication, exceptional work product and commitment to the quality of client services.

Laurie resides in West Peabody, Massachusetts with her husband, Russell; she has two grown children, Molly and Rebecca. Laurie enjoys challenging herself through running obstacle course races and hiking the mountains of New Hampshire / Maine. She also enjoys the adventures of kayaking, zip lining and paddle boarding with her family.
