Archambault & Associates is a sole proprietorship entity owned and operated by Susan E. Archambault. A small team of experienced professionals supports the firm’s clients in all aspects of our business operations. Susan E. Archambault founded the firm in December of 1990 after gaining valuable tax experience with prestigious Boston firms. The firm is a boutique practice offering a unique distinction in services from the traditional accounting firm. As a boutique practice we provide a specialized expertise with the quality and sophistication of a large firm at the price and personality of a small office. We believe it is our approach, expertise and philosophy in working with clients that has consistently provided client satisfaction and enhanced long-term relationships with our clients. Our clients in turn are the foundation of our satisfaction and success.


THE TEAM


Susan E. Archambault, M.S.T., E.A., Principal
Managing Director

Susan founded Archambault and Associates in December of 1990. The basis of our distinction from the traditional firm is Susan’s twenty-eight years of private client, personal tax, fiduciary tax/accounting/administration experience. Susan specializes in working with our private client group on their personal tax and family financial matters, as well as consulting with law firms, private executors and trustees in and around Boston on sophisticated personal, estate, trust, and gift tax matters. This specialized experience is what provides the unique foundation for the services we provide to our private individual client group with tax planning and compliance services for every generation of the family including their related estates and trusts.

Susan graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Plymouth State University of The University System of New Hampshire in 1980. After working in the field of law and taxation, Susan earned her Masters Degree in Taxation from Bentley College with high distinction in 1989 and was recognized by Beta Gamma Sigma for National Business School Honors. Having gained significant experience working with the Internal Revenue Service, Susan became an enrolled agent in 1996 in order to expand her practice to represent clients before the Internal Revenue Service. Susan maintains her professional education in a diverse array of topics.

Practical insight and experience is of vital importance to compliment education. Susan is involved extensively with clients advising on various matters from both a tax planning and practical aspect. This includes implementing the planning decisions made as part of the clients tax, financial or estate plan. Susan resides in Wakefield, Massachusetts with her husband, Rick, and their three children, Kristin, Lauren and Scott.

Jane C. Tryder
Executive Assistant; Office Manager; Client Support Services

Jane is the Executive Assistant to Susan Archambault and assists with all aspects of client administrative services and professional support services. In addition, Jane manages office operations utilizing her human resource and office management experience.

Kristine E. Lash
Executive Assistant; Client Support Services

Kris is an Executive Assistant assisting in all aspects of client services and administration support to the professional team.

Lisa M. Colbert, CPA, MST
Accountant
Notary Public

Lisa has nineteen years of tax and accounting experience and focuses on tax services for our individual, estate/gift, and trust tax clients. In addition, Lisa assists with our trust and estate administration services and planning implementation services. Lisa holds a Bachelors Degree in Accounting, is a Certified Public Accountant, and holds a Masters Degree in Taxation from Bentley College.

Diane C. Furlong

Diane has fifteen years of accounting experience gained mainly through positions held in the financial services industry. Diane focuses on our fiduciary accounting and estate/trust administration services and assists with our fiduciary and individual income tax matters. Diane holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Boston University and an Associates Degree in Business.
